May 24 – The Joy of the Father’s Love

With this lecture, we’ll study the uniqueness of how God loves us and what it means to be His beloved child. We will take St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus as our guides. We’ll meet at 6:45 pm in the Church of St. Vincent Ferrer.

May 31 – The Joy of the Beatitudes

With this lecture, we’ll contemplate the particular joy of Jesus Christ, who is meek and humble of heart. To do this, we’ll study the Beatitudes, both as His revelation of His Heart and His invitation to each of us. Again, we’ll meet at 6:45 pm in the Church of St. Vincent Ferrer.

June 7 – The Joy of Penance

With this lecture, we’ll examine the Rite of the Sacrament of Confession with the aim of leveling up our confessions and at the same time enjoying the tender mercies of the Father. As usual, we’ll meet at 6:45 pm in the Church of St. Vincent Ferrer.

June 14 – The Joy of Praise

With this final lecture of the series, we’ll take up the great theme of praise and thanksgiving at the heart of Christian life. Our aim will be to better fulfill our shared vocation to live to the praise of the Father’s glory.
