The Forty Hours’ Devotion | Friday, March 7 – Sunday, March 9

The Parish will offer its annual Forty Hours Devotion over the first weekend of Lent which will include the usual First Friday adoration as well as Stations of the Cross. On Sunday, March 9 at 4 PM, the Schola will offer 30 minutes of choral music featuring Eucharistic texts of St. Thomas Aquinas, O.P.

Solemn Exposition will begin following the 12:10 PM Mass on Friday, March 7.

Please note that there is Daylight Savings Time this weekend. To enter the church between 7 PM and 7 AM, please use the door by the Rosary Altar. We will have security overnight in the church from 11 PM – 7 AM each night.

“One of the best known popular devotions in Catholic churches is Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, lasting part of three days, which we call the devotion of the Forty Hours’ Devotion. It is recommended that it be held yearly with the greatest possible solemnity.”
