February 28 through March 28 – Lenten Parish Study: What it Means to be a Baptized Christian

“Lord, Give Me This Water”
What it Means to be a Baptized Christian

The Sunday Readings in Lent this year are meant to teach us about the meaning of Baptism. We will take the opportunity to reflect on why the Church of old has seen three passages from John’s Gospel — the Samaritan woman, the healing of the man born blind, and the raising of Lazarus — to be about Christian initiation. These, as well as the other Lenten Gospels, reveal to us the implications of baptism in our private, ecclesial and social lives.

The Lenten Study will be led by Fr. Francis Belanger. It will be held on Tuesdays (February 28, March 7, 14, 21, and 28) during Lent in the Lower Church of St. Vincent Ferrer at 6:45 PM. Please join us. All are most welcome!
