November 15 – Annual Gold Mass for Scientists In the Dominican Rite (Latin)

Monday, November 15 is the Feast of St. Albert the Great, O.P., patron saint of scientists who advocated the synthesis of faith and reason.  There will be a “Gold Mass” in the Dominican Rite at 7 pm at St. Vincent Ferrer for which the Schola Cantorum will sing Maurice Duruflé’s Messe cum jubilo, Op. 11. Like the other Masses for members of particular professions, the Gold Mass is offered for scientists.
